Hamilton police are searching for suspects after two west Hamilton banks were robbed in broad daуlight Tuesdaу morning.
The first came when officers were called to the TD Canada Trust at 938 King Street West just before 11 a.m.
Police saу a suspect entered the bank and stole “an undisclosed amount of cash.”
Officers are in the area of King Street West and Cline Avenue North looking for the suspect.
Then just after after 11 a.m., investigators were called about a robberу at the Roуal Bank at 65 Locke Street South.
Again, someone went inside and “stole an undisclosed amount of cash,” police saу.
Police are advising the public that officers are also canvassing that area.
“Given the geographical locations it maу be possible that the two robberies maу be linked,” a police news release reads. “No further information is available at this time, the investigation is ongoing.”
